My 96 truck in v. good shape except vinyl bench seat becoming unstitched and shabby.

Dealer informs me that replacement not available.

Any suggestions on 3rd party to inquire with in Gulf-States region?

Maybe try Wet Okole or Katskinz and cover them in something really nice. It's unbelievable how nice some of these look.

Two suggestions. First, try your local junk yards. It's a very common vehicle so seats are pretty easy to come by. Second, an upholstery shop can re-cover your current seat for less than you might think. They might even be able to repair the one you've got.

 

If it's vinyl, I'm guessing that it is the basic XL bench seat and he's looking to upgrade a bit. My first place to look would be a junkyard. Look for a 92 - 97 F-anything, except for a 1997 F-150 and F-250LD.
