So i have a 2005 f150 fx4 and I CANT find the console without the shifter so I have two questions. 1. I know ive read on here that someone had converted to a center console shift. Can somebody point me to this? Is this hard? 2. Where can I find a center console without the shifter? ive searched on ebay for weeks ive called salvage yards, I know its possible to find, but where is it?

 

Try car-part.com and search Interior misc panels for 2004-2005. I just got one for $125 shipped. A little dirty from sitting in a rollover truck, but it'll clean up like new. I'm still waiting for them to call and ask for more money as it seems they go for $200+. It took me about 2 dozen phone calls over a couple weeks to find this one.

Search for some posts in the 2004-2006 section by FX4&Excursion and I think FX4&Harley they both did the column shift to floor shift mod. FX&E is a good guy and should have tons of tips if you decide to swap.
