I Have a burnt bulb & when I Took off the plastic speedo bezel It wont come off because the headlight **** is in the way, how do i just take this **** off?
i tryed pulling hard but it feels like its going to break if i pull harder.

anyone know how to take this dam **** off?

 

Most of them you have to push a button on the actual headlight switch assembly and then pull the **** and shaft out toghther

 

You need an o-ring pick, or a paperclip that's straightened out, with a hook at the end. If you look closely at the ****, you will find a slot in the base, closest to the dash. You need to stick the tool (pick or paperclip) in that slot, and pull it towards you. There is a metal "spring" that lets the **** slide on easily, but when you try to remove the ****, it binds with the shaft, preventing the **** from coming off every time you turn the headlights on. The pick will slide between the "spring" and the shaft, allowing you to pull the **** off easily.
