Carpet Installation

Hey guys....Anyone out there ever replaced a carpet in a 2002 F150 ext. cab? I've got the black vinyl flooring and it looks awful. Gotta get a carpet.
Don't know how tough a job this is, and do i get it professionally done?
I'm sure the cost installed will be 2X or 3X what a molded carpet will be.

Thumbs up Here ya go.

You can get the exact carpet you need already precut for your truck and in any color so it makes for a pretty simple install. I recommend looking on E-Bay first. You would be able to do this yourself.

Thanks for the reply. Have you ever tried this? I'm not looking forward to snapping off the mounting clips to all the plastic trim pieces.

Thumbs up Yes

Yes my 1998 f-150 had the rubber floors in them and I bought carpet for it from E-bay. Just be sure to get the right carpet for either your automatic or standard shift truck. It took me about 2 hours to put mine in.

Thanks for the info. Think I'm gonna wait for some decent weather and install.
