Need Help With Seat Covers

I just bought seat covers for my 06 F150 Supercab, but the plastic boxes whihc hold the seatbelts are stopping me from putting them on. If I take the side cover off the boxes in the front seats there are two star-type screws there. Is there any way to take them off, then cut a slit in the seam of the seat cover an reinstall them? Or do I need to buy special seat covers? Any help/ info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The idea sounds good! Why not just cut the slit and slide them over the screw. Loosen the screw but don't pull it out and slide over the fabric! Keeping the screw in place so nothing gets messed up
