The power adjustable pedals in my wifes 2000 Expedition stopped working. When I looked at them, i found the brake pedal was adjusted all the way toward the firewall and the gas pedal is adjusted all the way toward the seat basically causing the system to work against itself. The motor and switch are fine. Anyone know how I can disconnect the flexible drive shaft from the gas pedal so that I can sync them back up? Its very uncomfortable to drive it the way it is.
