Power window controls sticking

I am having a problem with the driver's side power window switches sticking. It was this way when I bought the truck and feels like the previous owner had spilled a coke on them. I was wondering what to do to fix the sticking. I was thinking about spraying WD-40 on them, but didn't know if that would be bad on the electrical stuff.

There are various electronic cleaners ( CRC and other make them ) that you might give a try. They are quick drying and leave no residue. Now, don't confuse this with the cleaners that are for electrical motors . .. read the can ... Anyway, give one of them a try ... attach the small hose/tube and work the switch while you spray ... You may need to remove the switch panel to fully clean it.

I had the same problem with 2000 Lariat. I disassembled the switches as much as possible and sprayed everything real good with WD-40 and they worked fine after that. It's been 2 years now with no problems.
