Question Head Rests

My Kids took out my head rest and tried putting it back in backwards and now it is stuck and I cannot get it out...Is there some kind of trick or tool to get is out?

Kids played a trick on daddy and dad didn’t think it was funny…

I agree, you should be able to yank it out of there, in the models that I have driven anyway.

I can see it now…your in the truck, pulling up hard on the headrest and after a second (when you least expect it) it lets loose, pops you in the chin, causing you to fly backwards and out of the truck, where you land on your head but still are holding onto the headrest as your melon bounces off of the asphalt, the kids witness this and run into the house with fear of God in them. You get up, a little bruised and you are proud of yourself that you never let the headrest hit the ground. You are a little dizzy and pop the headrest in and as soon as you get it seated in place you realize that you put it in backwards.

There's a small hole in one of the plastic pieces on top of the seat, were the metal bars go through the seat. Push a small nail in there and they will pop out.
