Center Console Swap??

Is it possible to remove my stock center console, and put in one that goes all the way to the dash?

I've been looking on Ebay, and the Expedition center consoles go all the way to the dash, the Harley edition ones do too.

If anyone has done this, or if anyone has any info on this..........let me know.

Steve

I just did it to my truck. I found a Navigator console for mine. The Expedition, Navigator, Blackwood, and Harley edition consoles will work. I haven't taken pictures yet, but there are plenty of them on the boards here, as I just followed the instructions here to install mine. Looks much better IMO, and I even found one with the same wood grain trim as my King Ranch has in it, so it's even more fitting. If you have any questions feel free to contact me directly and I can help. Make sure you get the floor brackets with whatever console you get, because they will cost you about $60 if you have to get them separately. I couldn't find any used ones anywhere so had to order them from a parts place online.

Having seen Dufunnel's console in person on Saturday, the above is a bit of an understatement... it looks great!!

Does anyone know of one for sale?

I have tan leather interior, with the cd changer in the console.

I have seen one with the heater controls and vents on the rear.........I really don't need that.

I think it only makes sense that have the longer console that goes to the dash. All that space is wasted.

Let me know,

Steve
