How to remove center console!?!

I have an 05 Screw with a center shift console. I want to remove that stupid cigarette lighter and replace with some accessory switches. How do I get that trim panel surronding the center cluster out?

Its a little tough but just pull from the bottom with even pressure. Ive taken mine out a few times and its still tough.

Thanx, I thought that was the case but I would have felt pretty stupid with pieces of plastic in my hand. I will give it a tug.

This question may have the same answer, but I am a new owner of a 2005 XL regular cab and I want to take out the front console to get to my stereo. Do I really just have to pull it out from the bottom?
