Does anyone know if any other model visor will fit my 2001 SuperCab?
Such as the Explorer or Excursion? I want to get a Homelink visor for my truck

Expedition and Navigator visors are direct replacements (mine are Expys) - I'd probably try to get the same year, though. Supposedly, you can put a homelink module in any visor (feel around - there's supposed to be a removeable piece that you can kinda feel the outline of) I'm not sure of the steps though. Do a search . . . or someone else will be along soon . . .

 

Those go quite a bit cheaper. And they are listed more often. Maybe I can find one at a better price now.

I got a set from a 1999 Explorer on EBAY these fit 1999-2001 SCREW. I looked in mine but did not have the power connectors and will need to run power. Oh Well :o . Had hoped they had standardized the option I must have an early edition before the wiring was standarized.

When I get finished with the mod I will post problem to look out for. Hope to get it done this weekend.

 

On my other truck 01 Scab I added the lighted visor the harness tucked up
in the corner of the headliner.
