Hey all,
I was thinking about replacing the stock speakers with some pioneer 6x9's. i attempted to remove the factory door skins. i am affraid of breaking the friction clips that hold it together. Has any one changed the speakers themselves? Anyone who has, woud you mind giving me some advice. Pictures would be really nice. I dont even know where to start removing the door from. This would be a big help. Thanks in advance!

Here ya go... just take your time & make sure it's warm out ( plastic is more brittle when it's cold ).

BTW - The fronts are 6"x8".

thanks i just took a look at the link. One question, i have a 98, i noticed that the door handle is located in a different place in the 99's. Will there be any important differences that you know about. thanks in advance!

 

Nope - you should be fine. Same basic retention system.
