Thumbs down Can someone help me ???

The loser who owned my truck before I did decided it would be great to put his radar detector on the dash instead of the window. He used adhesive velcro, and when he traded the truck in he removed the velcro which took the gray paint off of the dash exposing the black plastic in a neat little square. How can I fix it, hide it, repaint it. I would rather not replace dash, I would just mount my radar in the saem spot....any ideas on touching it up???

I had a pretty bad scuff mark on my Crew when it came from the factory. I was mad as hell! The dealer had someone come out and touch it up. Now there is no way you could tell it was ever there!

Talk with the dealer about suggestions. I have heard there is paint that matches. I have also heard of a franchise called Dr. Vinyl that does this.

Good luck!

Can't that area (or the whole piece) simply be dyed? If you can remove that panel - I'm guessing it's the hump that sits on top of the instrument cluster and radio - take it to an upholstery shop and they should be able to touch up that area or re-dye the whole piece.
