Talking Hard to get spot

Hi - I have a 97'with the super cab. When you open both doors on the passengers side - on the floor where the seatbelt comes out it seems alot of pebbles, etc. seem to get between there and the step plate and its a bugger to get it cleaned out - vacuums just are not powerful enough for this. if I could somehow remove the plastic housing around the seatbelt mechanism I would be able to clean that out - but it seems to be riveted in. Anyone else noticed this area when cleaning the floor or interior??

I use the sticky side of a rolled up piece of duct tape, for hard to reach areas maybe even wrapped around a pencil. For larger flat surfaces take the roll of tape and rewind one layer backwards so the sticky side in on the outside of the roll, use the roll like a lint pick up brush and you will be pleased. Unless my truck is real dirty I use the tape method. It picks up so much lint and other undesireables that it's amazing

Thumbs up

Hey - why did'nt I think of that! THANKS I'll give it a try. It's a very small area, but maybe by just folding the tape and using the crease I can do some good.

Cool

Clear box tape works great. A few detail/artists/paint brushes can also sweep and clean many different areas (AC vents, tight places,etc.).
