Arrow 2000/2001 EB Exterior Cleaning!!

Anyone found a good way to clean those exterior "Aspen Tan" running boards and front lower valance on a 2000+ Eddie Bauer Expedition?

I've got some stains I'd like to get rid of but they're tough. I find the best thing is a terry towel and a lot of elbow grease but there has to be a better way and one that gets it even cleaner.

Cool

Try spraying some WD-40 onto the rag before you scrub it. It won't hurt the paint and should dissolve any grease/tar.. It will strip any wax, so re-wax it when done.

Thumbs up

Actually I use WD-40 quite a bit for cleaning but hadn't even thought about it for this. The part I'm talking about it the plastic running boards and plastic lower part of the nose which is a textures plastic and isn't painted, which means WD-40 would really be ideal!!

Thanks for that reminder!! I knew I loved this board for a good reason
