Post Power Window motor seems to be dying

Anyone noticed that their driver's side power window motor seems to struggle when opening the window???

The same thing is happening in my girlfriend's mustang. Also, right after the window opens, there is a loud click coming from the fuse box area.

I had the same problem with my truck. I was able to solve my problem by lowering the window and carefully spraying a small amount of silicone spray lubricant into the entire window channel. Don't spray too much, or it will make a mess on the edge of your window.

I have a bottle, I'll try it tomorrow. Thanks!

The drivers side rocker switch for the power windows has two positions. If you press it lightly it's position one; if you press it firm or all the way down it's position two, which is to automatically roll the window all the way down.

The click that your hearing is the relay cutting the power to the window motor when it reaches the bottom.

Hope this helps ...
