Replacement upholstery

Replacement upholstery
Due to an unfortunate accident, I need to replace the upholstery on the driver's side captains chair (medium gray/graphite) on my '98 XLT SC. The seat back is O.K.
Before I go to the Ford dealer:
1. Is replacement upholstery even available or do you have to buy the entire seat?
2. If Ford can't help me out, would an upholstery shop be able to match the cloth?
Thanks.

Hide your wallet when you goto Ford. They wanted something like $350. That was just for the bottom of the seat. It is available for the right price. The upolstery shop said about $150. Big difference!!

Mark, I consider myself a seat expert at this point. I was in misery with my 40/60 seat in my 99 after having captians chairs in my 98 I had before it. It cost me $950 for the captains chairs and console and I am stuck with a 40/60 seat that will not sell. If you have even the slightest preference for the captains chairs, then I strongly suggest that you keep them. $377 to have them recovered is a bargain compared to $950. They should bolt right in, do it, or you may regret it as I do.
