Seat belt support cracking

Question Seat belt support cracking

Anyone else notice the plastic support around the seat belt (shroud, I guess) splitting? I guess from flexing. Mine has a 1/4" split so far, no big deal as long as it doesn't get too much worse (hate having the seat belt flop over). Truck is a '99. Noticed that the '97's have the seat belt recessed in the seat; looks like a better system to me.
