You're a long way from me,but the guy I have had do my windows always uses LLumar. He has done 3 of my vehicles and I am going to set up an appointment for my new truck.Check to make sure that whoever does the work gaurantees the film and their labor.I get a lifetime warranty with mine and even though I only had one minor problem in the past it was taken care of no questions asked. He gave me a price of $129.00 and I have an extended cab as well.Good luck

Thumbs up Window Tint

Is there anything I need to look for while shopping for a place to get my windows tinted? Is one film manufacturer better then another?

Cool

I have always had good experiences with 3M brand film...others seem to develop problems years down the road

My 2 cents

My nephew lives in Carrollton and does custom tint jobs as well as standard. He uses 3M which has a lifetime warranty. He did mine in August 1996 just after I got it and it still looks great. He also did Mumbly's truck. Send me an email if you want me to put you in touch with him. He is not doing this on a volume basis so he is very picky about his work and takes his time doing it.

Hey Blackhawk thanks for the info but I laready had it done in Plano at Alta Mere. Loos great - ran me about 80.00 bucks for the lifetime warranty stuff.
Sorta off the beaten path but I found this guy named Nick of Nick's mufflers off of Hebron and Tollroad byhind the airport there that wants 275.00 for Flow Master 40 Series and 4" tips - good deal?

3M on mine, and after 44 months there are no problems. Be careful cleaning the tinted side of your window - DO NOT us anything with ammonia, like Windex. It will discolor to a purple color over the long run. I think I paid $30 for two front doors only.
