See:

if you have any more questions post them there.
I installed it Saturday and the hardest part was getting the wires from under the A pillar to under the dash.
Maybe someone you know has a garage you can use.
Here in SC it was 77degrees today so cold wasn't an issue.

I'm interested in getting this mirror also, but I haven't a clue about wiring this. What wire would I tap into and where is it located and is it as simple as splicing it? I've never done ANY electrical work on cars before I wouldn't have the faintest idea on where to go. I'm very experienced with installing household electrical service but don't have a clue about autos. thanks

It's Hella-easy to splice.
Just find a convienent +12v switched source and ground connection.
If you can do house wiring, auto wiring is a piece of cake.

Is the picture you posted earlier from your truck? If not, is there anyway for you to post a picture...I would like to get a mirror like this. How noticeable are the power wires running into the mirror??
