Question Oops, I hit the panic button again....

Has anyone tried to remove the "panic" function from the keyless entry remote? I can be in my house, toss the keys on the table and get my neighbors attention.

That's an easy one JamaDog. It can be fixed in less than a minute at a cost of ten cents!

The button is recessed. Place a dime over it then make several passes around the dime and remote with black electrical tape.

I am simultaneously applying for a patent while making this post so don't anybody get any ideas!

Wink

Do what raoul says but use a penney instead and save nine cents.

You're absolutely right, hmustang.
Guess it stems from that, 'I drive a Lariat mentality'
where money is no object.

Unhappy

I didn't have any change so I tried to use a dollar bill. Did not work well at all. Now I can't find the lock or unlock buttons. Maybe my wife can help.
