I just picked up a KR Epedition and was wondering if the Castano leather needs anything special compared to other leather seats. I was also wondering what people use for their leather care.

I'd HIGHLY recommend that you check out the King Ranch Forum where we have discussed this in GREAT depth over the past several years.

It appears that leathers are like underwear, everyone has a preference on color, style, and application.

Some like Lexol, some like Fiebings, some like King Ranch Conditioner, some like Meguiar's, some like leathermaster, some like....

Well, you get the point. I, personally, have two favorites. The first is Meguiar's Rich Leather Aloe Conditioner (white gel). The second is Lexol (brown bottle -- do not use the cleaner on castano (orange bottle)).

Beyond those, I like Fiebings and have intentions on trying out Leathermaster based on one of our member's experience with the product. I need to burn through some other product before I do that though...

I just like the leather...it seems much softer than the leather in the Eddie Bauer/Limited versions.

Of course it could also be the new car thing.
