How are you posting? Do you have a Palm Pilot in your truck?

Why don't you just wait for the Officer to arrive.
He can cut you out.
I don't want to get involved.

I believe that once these lockup they need to be replaced, check with a dealer or body shop. The service manual states all seat belts that were being used at the time of an accident should be replaced. the auto lock mechanism is disabled when the belt is fully retracted make shure that the webbing is not rolled over and causing it to bind. Be safe and have them checked.

I would remove the bolt that holds the seat belt up (just behind where your left shoulder would be) and feed the slack you create back into the slot, in attempts to relase the locking mechanism.

If that doesn't work you might be SOL.

You have to replace them, there is a little piston in the housing that shoots through the belt stopping it from moving out any further when the airbags go off. Its part of the SRS system. If ever the airbags go off you must replace your seatbelts also.
