Another question for Rockpick....

Rockpick, I always make a point to read your replies to questions that are made in these forums, and I take what you say very seriously. I respect your opinions very much. Now, with the proverbial ***-kissing out of the way...

When I got my first 2002 Lariat Scab, I went to Pep Boys to get some kind of leather cleaner for the seats. I purchased Meguiars Gold Class leather cleaner and conditioner. that truck had the light saddle tan color interior (I forgot what Ford called the color) It worked pretty good and it removed stains left from new denim blue jeans, and also took all the dirt off of the steering wheel since that got covered with dirt over a period of time. Now with the new 2002 Screw Lariat I just got, the interior is that darker charcoal color which I like better than the lighter tan.

My question is, how good is that Meguiars product that I have? I know that nothing will take out the wrinkles that are in the side bolsters on the front seats, I just want to make sure that no real cracks appear on any of the leather surfaces.

The product that you have is a very good product. Personally, I prefer going with a two step product (a separate cleaner and a separate conditioner) but, for a seat/leather surface that isn't heavily soiled, an 'all-in-one' type of product isn't a bad choice.

As for the 'creases' in your bolsters, I can't tell you that you're never going to have cracks as they will be the most likely place that they'd develop in my opinion but, I can say that the regular conditioning will lessen the chances of it happening.
