I have been toying with the idea of painting my dash to match my truck. Is this a good idea? if so how hard is it to do? any tips?

 

I've only painted the dash on a 94 ford ranger. It came out looking great. All you have to do is unscrew the pieces you want to paint, take them out, tape over pieces you don't want paint getting on (any glass, or displays), and spraypaint them. There is actually a specific kind of paint. It will say on the bottle that it is for the interior of your car or truck. The only really hard thing to do is to get that main part of the dash off, depending on your year of course.

The results are awesome, gives it that armor-alled look when its fully done. And you really can't tell its been spray-painted.
