Sunroof are rattle

Hi, this is my first post here. Im a member over at Ford Truck World, but I was wondering if ya guys could help me with a small prob im having. Ive got a 2004 F150 Lariat, and theres a rattle somewhere in the headliner when I close the doors, or go over a fair sized bump.....the thing is....if i push the headliner up, at about 6 inches behind the sunroof, the rattle ing stops. What could be causing the rattle?

There are a few systems overhead that could be causing this:

1. The rear brake light has a wire that runs from the rear towards the front. Ford uses the 'push plug' type of wire holders throughout the headliner (or at least they did on my old 01) and my hunch would be that one of these plugs isn't connected to hold the wire in place. You're either hearing the plug rattling or the wire itself.

2. Same scenario for interior lights.

3. Are all of your push plugs that hold the headliner up securely fastend?

Good luck! Welcome to f150online.com!

Sunroof Rattle...

'01 Lariat Super Crew w/sunroof...glass hatch workin' perfect, no problems...the INTERIOR hatch apparently has sliding rails or light steel supports of some kind that have worked loose and now rattle...is pulling the head-liner the only way to access the area above that hatch-lid? I think I can fix the rattle if I can get to it, but never pulled a head-liner and don't wanna mess it up...

How hard to pull that head-liner or should I let an interior shop look at it?...
