From what I hear, it's on the passengers side, under the glove box right against the firewall. I'm not sure, because I have a 98, but my dad has an 03 and he was wanting to know where his was too. I guess if anyone else has a better answer, please post.

To the best of my knowledge they don't have them anymore.

I had one installed in my 1999, and 2000 Expy but was told there isn't one for the 2004.

Keep in mind I had to have it installed. None of them came with it.

You might want to inquire at the dealer---Bob

The only thing I can think of is that it was something they did for the Lincoln Blackwood. I've seen a few threads on different forums about this in the last couple months and have yet to see a post from someone who had this filter in their F150.

Cabin filter... ??????

Hey All,
My 2002 KR did not come with a cabin air filter.
When I looked into it in late 2003, Ford customer service reps pointed me to a kit number. I don't have the kit number.
The kit had a template to cut into the air box and contained the filter and two mounting flanges to go aroung the perimeter of the airbox hole.
In 2003, I had to drive 40 miles to find a dealership that had the kit in stock.
Recommend a call to Ford customer service. May take a helpful CS rep. to provide you with availablity and fit potential.

Regards,
Frank

My 99 ford van had a filter system in it under the hood,it was easy too get at.My 01 chevy had one under the dash and it was bad the way it was installed, hard to get the covers off and the screws out to clean it,plus there were 2 filters in it.You had to be on your head to see up in there, first time I cleaned it I missed one ,then found out there were 2 of them up there. Each time I cleaned them there was a lot stuff in them,so they were doing a good job keeping dirt out of your truck and duck work. I checked my 03 put didn't find that they had put a filter system in it.

To the best of my knowledge, the '03's never came with a cabin filter, they had to be added. The kit number is : F65Z-18D477-AA", which has been discontinued for some time now. I'm not sure why, but I'd sure like to get one. If anybody finds a source, PLEASE let me know. Thanks.
