Leather seat repair?

I just bought my '01 F-150 from the local dealer yesterday and I noticed a small rip ( about 1/2") in the passenger side leather seat

Is there any way to repair leather to keep it from ripping any more??

I got the same problem, I got some "leather repair" from Wally world. It last's about two weeks. (the rip has not gotten bigger though). The general concencus is check ebay for new covers or take the covers to a local leather shop to replace the panel.

Depending on the panel, most of them can be repaired and/or replaced with not much effort by an auto upholstry shop. This is a common problem and thus, most all of them are equiped to handle such an issue.

I'd give them a try and see about how much it might cost you to go with the permanent route of fixing it before I explored temporary fixes. Good luck with your issue!

I just talked to someone I know that works at an RV dealership and he told me they can fix the seat for me for free!! He said it happens all the time on the rental RV's.

I'll take before and after pics to show you guys.
