Question Installing a Bench Seat

Has anyone ever tried to put a one piece bench seat from an older pickup (ex: 80's Chevy 1/2 ton) into their current Ford F-150? I have a '98 Reg Cab with 60/40 bench that I want to remove. I ride 3 often and the person in the middle is always so uncomfortable. Those with the seat/console know what I'm talking about...

I'm sure there's some fabrication I would need to do but how difficult could it be? Plus, is there enough room....

Any help is appreciated.

So much for this idea.

Luckily made a trade with a friend for his 1 piece Bench Seat from his 96 F150 for my 60/40 out of my 98 F150. In case anyone's wondering, all the wholes were there and aligned.

It all worked out great!
