Question Modifications for Supercab

I have a 2003 F150 Supercab and would like to do something with the back seat area to make it a little more gear friendly. I don't want to pull the seats or anything drastic like that... just maybe drop-in a storage area that would hold stuff without rolling all over the place. Something I could pull out when I need the seats and place in a covered bed. Has anyone done any work on their own rig they'd like to share?

I'm not sure if this is what your looking for, but I built a cargo box for that area.

Very nice! I don't think I'd have the skill to build something like that myself but it looks great. Does it provide ample storage space for you?

I was actually thinking about something a little taller that I could just slide into the rear area while the seats were up, then remove and throw in the bed when I need to carry extra passengers. Something with a cover that could conceal things like a notebook computer and shopping bags and such. I know I could just go with a lockable toolbox for the bed, but I hate giving up the space back there. I'm kind of surprised there aren't more factory accessories available from Ford.

I'd make one for you, but I'm not sure if 2003's dimensions are the same. I like your idea but it woudl almost have to metal if you were tossing it in the bed which would be above my level. I doubt any aftermarket companies would make something liek that mainly because of demand - your the first person I know of thats looking for something like that! LOL.
