Question Captain Chair Lumbar Repair

97 Expedition XLT

Hmmm I heard a "POP!!" and now my Lumbar support doesnt work.. Has anyone made a fix for this? I havent taken the seat apart yet or found a schematic on the power seat. My guess is there is a cable that has snapped. if anyone knows of an easy fix or kit to replace this item will you let me know?

the lumbar support (on my f150xlt) is a 10X12 spring steel plate a ccable put tension on the plate creating an arch shape. the noise you heard was probably the cable . to accsessthe unit remove the panal on the seat back it just pulls off on the sides and push down at the top you will see everthing

brianj 2002 xlt super cab 4.6, westin steps, k&n filter,
