Hi, first time posting here I had a question. I have a 1999 F-150 Super cab with a 60/40 split bench seat.

I have the console on the bench seat but was looking for an aftermarket floor console to go in front of the seat where the shifter would be if it was a manual trans.

I have looked at JC Whitney and numerous other places and the only ones I can find are like 2 cup holders and not much more.

Does anyone know where I might find something like this?

There are some posts of home jobbing a console off an expedition into the F-150's. As to aftermarket, I really can't tell you much.

thx for the reply, as to the posts regarding a EXP center console from what I read those are to replace the console in a F-150 between two captains chairs.

I have the 60/40 split bench and wanted something to go on the floor in front of the middle of the bench seats.

Seems the only thing I can find at the usual suspects, ie JC Whitney, truckaddons.com, and some other places is barely moe then 2 cup holders that go on the floor I was hopeing for something a little more substansial.

Although as it is looking rather bleak I might just have to resort to custom manufacturing ne myself from some other vehicles

 

I have the oem console that folds down as a arm rest on the bench seat but as I have seen others say there isnt much room in there, no room for CD's or much else and I was hopeing to get something to add some more storage room to my F-150.

 

build one yourself. i just measured up my 97 f150 for one. i will build one out of an exotic lumber like rosewood with stainless steel accent panels.

i have worked as a finish carpenter for 25 years but with a little skill and some plywood ( ac, bc or mdo) you can too. i will post pictures when i finish.

I don't know if they still make them, but Steel Horse used to make some really nice floor consoles for bench seat trucks.

I had one in my Chev and it was fantastic.
