seats from explorers

Does anyone know if seats from explorers will fit 2001 Supercrews? Or, with minor mods, could I get them to fit??

I need to replace my cloth seats and I see a lot of explorer seats on Ebay.

Thanks

I'm 99.99% sure they WILL NOT FIT.

I had an Exploder a few years ago and the seats were much more narrow and not as 'deep'.

They are manufactured by a comapny here in Louisville, KY named LEAR Corporation. (just a tidbit of data)

There is a Lear factory here that suppliers both Ford planst (Ontario Truck and Ontario Assembly that makes FreeStar). I'm preety sure they are also supplying the Chrysler Brampton plant (makes LH cares) and GM Oshawa (just other side of Toronto) where they make mid-size cars and pickups.

Sounds like these guys have their hands in many pies.

Yeah... definately. If I'm not mistaken, they make nearly all of Ford's interior systems (seats, consoles, headliners, etc...)
