rearview mirror help!!!!!!!!!

rearview mirror help!!!!!!!!!

my rearview mirror keeps coming off due to the bass but heres my problem......the bracket stays on the window but the mirror comes off the bracket???? i dont think the adhesive will work on the bracket...........it says apply to clean smooth surface the back of the mirror is not smooth.any one else have this problem and what was the solution.......thanks

There should be a set screw in the mirror base that can be tightened that keeps it attached to the mount on the windshield.

no luck there is no screw at all.it is just sitting on the windshield bracket.........any other suggestions??????

I have a little allen screw in mine. Perhaps yours is missing? Do you see the little hole for it? If not, then the little tangs that is supposed to put pressure between the bracket and mirror might be wearing out. Here is a site with lots of them for sale, hope this helps ya.
