rattle

join the club, my 03 dash has had a rattle since day one. (i also had a 98 that also had rattle) I know that when the 6 cd player is fully loaded it sounds like some of the cd's rattle around, but even when its empty theres still a pretty good rattle that drives me crazy. There's also a squeak in the dash somewhere that i cant find. ill keep looking if anyone knows where it is let us know.

my 98 never had a rattle until i had to rip the dash apart and replace the heater core. put it all back together and got a little rattle (had two screws left). there's about 3,000 various screws/ bolts/ clips in there not to mention wires, wire hangers and various gizmo's that could cause the rattle.

my suggestion is to turn up the radio. but if your serious about finding it, id'e start with anything (alarm, cd player, etc.) that you've had installed before you go into the dash.

I have a rattle in my dash... It started about 2 years ago. It only happens when the outside temp is between say... 68-72. I have not clue what it is.. But it annoys the crap out of me!
