Painted Interior Help
I plan on painting the interior of my 2000 F-150 completely. So, I need some help as to how I'm going to go about doing this. Let me first let you all know what I plan on doing. Basically the complete dash is going to be black, except on the the plastics surrounding the cd player, heat control, etc...that'll be red. Along with that being red, the airbag areas on the passenger side and on the steering wheel will be red, and on the passenger side, the gloveox will be red as well. On the doors, they'll be completely black with a few exceptions, I don't need to go into high detail, as most of that will be plastics much like the cd player area. Now, the ceiling...I want that black, so is there a way to paint that? Or what is an alternative. Interior esign of vehicles is new to me, I just completed the exterior(put 7,000) into it, and am ready to go into the interior.
So with all that being said, could you folks give me strategies, places to buy equipment, basically anything that can help me. This would be much appreciated, and when it's all said and done, I'll let you all take a look at "Diablo". lol...
Thanks much,
Josh

paint
I no expert on painting interiors, but I did paint the interior of my 81 mustang.
Any auto supply will have paint the directions on the can are good enough, remove everthing clean it two or three times.
Paint , it let it dry for 2 days then reassemble.
If you reassemble it be for it's dry it scratches easy. It,s best if you don't paint anything you touch regularly.(steering wheel ,door handles) The paint will wear through in about 6 months.
Sounds like a cool project post some before and after pics
when your done.
