Question has anyone fixed a loose front seat?

I have a 2001 F150 Lariat, the front drivers seat seems to be loose in the rail that it rides on for the power seat adjsutments. I do not see any bolts or way to tighten it and am sure it is not the floor mounting bolts.
Its just noticeable now with my weight on it while accelerating and slowing down. I don't want it to get worse or wear improperly. Has anyone else had this problem?

Thanks

How about does anyone else have a little play in their motorized seat? I've been under it a couple of times trying to see what may need to be tightened. I'm thinking it may just be how it is. I just have to live with the feeling that something is hitting the back of the seat everytime I slow down or accelerate.

I see what you're saying Snotes but no, I don't have any play in my 2001 SCREW seats.

From the sounds of your second description, maybe something has been bent and thus allowing a slight 'play'. Other than offering that opinion, I'm not sure what to tell you.

Are you able to recreate the movement while looking under the seat? Can you tell where the 'metal on metal' contact is taking place?

I have 99 power seats in my truck, and they do the same thing. It rocks a little sometimes, I noticed it right off after putting them in. I guess I just got used to it, don't notice it much anymore?,,,,98
