When I purchased my new '99 f 150 styleside I had asked the service dept. if the seat's edge would deteriorate. Of course they said no but I still thought it would and sure enough, a hole has begun of the size of a quarter at the side of the seat as your sliding off. Ford did not build up the sides on this model. 3 1/2 years and it's already happened. It's the cloth material and I'm not some 300 lb dude. I'm way under that. Maybe my lab has stuck her nails into that area more than enough times. Anyone else have this problem? I guess I better have it repaired before it gets bigger.
