For anyone who has painted any of their interior plastic peices, please post pics. And could you also add all the info about the paint(brand, color code, from where, and the price). I plan to paint a couple of my interior pieces black and gonna have my vynyl seat reupolstered to black and gray cloth.

Dupli-color to match the exterior and lots of clear-coat.

S-Crewballer - "How did you get the plastic parts so smooth ?" I know that mine has a texture to it. Did you multiply coats ? or did you sand them smooth ?

I thought about painting the trim around the radio in my truck to match the color of my truck. How much did that cost to do?

I painted the radio surround, the piece around the power window switches, and the piece below the gauges. All flat black. I went to a junk yard to pick up a few indentical pieces and experimented with them first.

I didn't do any prep work other than wiping with alcohol to make sure they were clean. I didn't want to sand because I wanted the parts to retain their texture.

I used regular spray paint. Sorry, I don't have the brand or type.

Everything has been painted for about a year with no problems. The radio surround actually gets quite a bit of rubbing from cups in the cupholder. But t hasn't scratched or chipped yet.

I'll post pictures when I can.
