Im wanting to do the center console mod but cant seem to find a place to buy center console other than the dealer. The web sites listed on this site and others either dont have any to sell or dont expect to be getting any more. (LWM) Has anybody done this mod lately and know where I can find the newer style gray console without paying 500.00 from dealer. Has someone bought one from the dealer cheaper and have part numbers? I have been searching for a 2000 or later console for six months with no luck. Nothing on E-bay and I have my "contacts" searching at four local truck/SUV salvage yards. I am about ready to pop for a new one from Ford parts.

I was talking to Mad at Madenterprise today and he is in exactly the same boat. He said he thinks if he can get five or six of us together he can sell them for about $550, maybe less, not sure about color availability.

Anybody who is interested, either post here or send Madferraristi a message. He said he will go to his local dealer next Monday and price the parts.

Here is the deal. I want an Expy console for my truck too. I have been searching and calling for almost a year, to no avail.

If I can order six of them, all Grey, I will be able to get an additional 10% discount off my dealer price, I am prepared to pay that much for one for my truck.

When I have three guys on the list who are interested, I will go for a price, I won't ask my parts guy to price all the pieces for just one ot two. Then, after I post the actual cost, I will need two more for a total of six. I will sell them to everybody at my cost so as to get mine.

I might consider selling mine, if I can't find anyone that has the floor mounting brackets. The centre console is in mint condition and tan in colour. It is exactly as the one pictureed at http://www.madenterprise.com/Console.jpg I will be doing some bracket searching at the local junkyards and if I come up empty handed I will let you guys know.

You can buy the brackets only from any dealer. The console is ordered using sixteen different part numbers, not as an assembly.

I'd be intrested but there is one catach...I have a 60/40 bench seat that is starting to grow on me (custom leather) I haven't looked at the pic yet but it only fits capt. chairs correct?

hey i just purchased a Lightning...but if the consoles are grey, i want one. Can i just have my pass. seat cut and re-upholstered so that im not losing my svt seats? Im sure someone has done something along this line....????
