Pedal Cover

I guess this is a good forum for this, since it is in the interior.........

Has anyone ever had any problems with their brake pedal cover coming off? Miine keeps coming off whenever I drive my truck. I thought that maybe it was messed up, so I went to the auto store and brought another one and put it on. Three days later going down the road and hit the brakes and the new cover came off. If it comes off again, I am gonna get some kind of glue and glue it down. The truck almost has 11,000 miles on it and the only thing I have had to fix has been this stupid brake cover. It is starting to drive me crazy!

I have not noticed mine coming off, but I have noticed that, after less than 7,000 miles, mine has more wear on it than my old 95 Thunderbird did at 120,000 miles..... interesting eh?

anybody know of any aftermarket pedal covers that don't require drilling? i want to get a set for the sake of keeping the wear and tear off the brake pedal

The duty boots I wear for work have been very hard on the brake pedal cover. I have worn through 2 of them. I replaced them at my Ford dealer, they are less then $5.00 a piece so it's not too bad. But I haven't had any problem with mine coming off.
