New Seat Mod..

Hey do you think it's possible to add side bolstering to a stock seat without changing the stock seat cover? I would like to try to make mine more like a deep bucket style.....

Ironically I asked my upholstery man that same question this past Saturday as we were discussing his recoverindg the seats in my Lightning. The answer is no.
In order for him to do this to my seats, he is going to have to add material to the section of fabric ( or leather in my case) that covers the side foam piece.

The seat in my Lightning is a 60/40,standard for 2001.
We are going the remove the *****ty fake suede material, add some padding in various locations, roll and pleat the inserts, embrodiry the SVT in silver , and cover everything in black leather.
Total cost approx $550.00.
This guy has done 4 interiors for me on 3 old trucks and 1 car I have restored and is an artist.
