Headlight bulbs replaced

I installed these in my 2017 F-150. Replacing a different manufacturer's set of LED's I installed 3yrs and only about 10,000 hrs earlier. The old one's had internal fans. Maybe it was one of the fans failing that burnt out the one headlight. That's what's made me try these AUXITO LED bulbs out. They're easy to install I guess. Ford headlights suck for access so watch a few Youtube vids before attempting. Go in through the fender wall. Its 4 screws and you're in. Be sure to note the (+,-) when connecting the wire harness. The symbols are small and hard to see but they're there. I think I did Blue (-) and Brown (+)? Test it before locking it into the headlight assembly. These were shallow enough that the dust covers fit back on. Truth be told I have after-market dust covers that are way deeper (for the old LED's) but It looked like the factory covers would have went back on. And there's enough room to tuck the extra harness wire and component under and around the LED.
They're bright (much like the other one's) but what surprised me was that with these AUXITO's (low beams) I didn't get flashed once on the highway the other night when driving home. With the old one's at least half the traffic would flash me. So I'd say these really are designed better to narrow the beam and keep it away from oncoming traffic. The beam coverage looked good.

Bad *** great looking truck. I like that grill. I have the 2012 3.5. I’m thinking of replacing my bulbs with the Napa night vision brilliant. On sale 42.00 for 2 pack. I’m retired low income but I’m thinking anything would be better than my factory. As they are horrible. but I haven’t had their alignment tested which I should with my oil change at months end at ford. Anyone know if the Napa would be a great replacement?

Your lowest cost option would be basic halogen style lamps. Whether you buy them from Ford Motorcraft, Philips, Sylvania, or some other brand. None of them will be that great. You already know that the basic yellow light, is not that bright.

NashLory is using LED lamps. Plenty of LED options if you decide to go that route. There are a lot of different opinions. I am using LED and I am satisfied. It will cost a lot more than the basic halogen lamps.

Before modern LED technology was available, I used higher wattage lamps. I never had a problem. The police never stopped my car, and pulled out the headlamp, to check the wattage. And yes, you get a lot more light on the road.

Always change pairs of headlights. One goes out, two new ones go in, the extra good one goes in the glove box in a baggie w/ an alcohol wipe in case I need to throw it on when the new ones burn out.
