Lights Going Dim

Headlights are about ready for a replacement on my 2008 F150. Pretty simple, just need some advice on whether I should get LED lights. What's the real advantage? I personally don't mind halogen lights and some LEDs can be too bright or off-colored. Anybody have suggestions?

They say that LED lamps in halogen housings do not reflect correctly.

I, and probably tens of thousands of people, have done it. I think they work just fine. Nobody has been blinded and driven into a ditch. My eyes perceive whiter lighting and more lighting. I will never go back to halogen. I have no want for dim yellow.

I'll have you know I ended up going with the LEDs and don't regret it one bit! Great visibility at night and it looks sharp.
