Install www.F150LEDS.com LED Bar kit for lower grill for 2004-2008 F150

Hey guys...so I went ahead and did a quick install guide for www.F150LEDS.com Lower grill LED 22" bar. They have a install guide for the 09 and up. For those trucks the LED bar fits perfect with no installation for the brackets. But for the 04-08, you will need to install the brackets and I will show you where...

So got this bad boy in the mail. Looks real good and I also got the wireless switch, so no need to wire anything through the firewall.

First thing is you are going to remove the small mesh grill. It pops right out exposing the two areas where you will be drilling to mount the mounts that hold the LED bar in place.

With the two sides of the mesh off...there is a metal plate in back of both sides. All you do is attach the mounts to the LED bar and place it where you want. Mark the hole where the screws will go to hold the mounts in place and drill away.

Passengers side

If you get it right...it ends up being perfectly centered with room to move the light up or down. I just kept mine facing straight forward. It works for me.

Next you will have to modify the mesh to make room for the mounts to come out. You can also adjust the LED bar without taking out the mesh grille..so that was a good thing about that. I did such a crappy job at cutting it....I just used a wire cutter and just cut until it didn't interfere with the mounts, but Im sure you can do a better job..lol!!!

Once that is done...BOOM..you are good to go!! Took me about 20min with drilling. Attach the wires as stated and you are done. Make sure to keep the antenna away from heat...so I mounted her closest to the firewall by the passenger side.

Here is the wireless switch

Do you use that for off road use only? Is in, you don't use it on the street around other vehicles?
