LED foglight(s)

I recently installed LED foglight bulbs, all worked great for about two weeks , then the passenger side does shine, checked all connections , fuses and even replaced bulb. Next step, the ballast? Thank you for any future tips on this.

Next would be the drivers. But your best bet is to just ditch the cheap LED fogs an upgrade to either JW speaker fogs or XB Morimoto fogs if you have a vehicle that can use them. What year is your truck?

I have the same for headlights and they're working great. APEX is the brand name.

X2 on this. I haven't seen anybody yet that makes a decent replacement LED bulb for either headlights or fog lights. They either have simply awful light output or don't last at all. (And the worst have both.)

As for the APEX stuff, just give them a few more months. (Or weeks.) I'm betting you'll change your mind.

Output is probably crap. But you didn't answer the question. Can't really help without knowing info on your truck.

Ah well crap! The direct replacement lights I suggested won't work. Only think you could do is put rigid DOT fogs in place.

What year is your truck OP? I sell LED Kits for the 2004-2016 trucks. They include a ballast and look fantastic. Much better then some of those "cheap" kits.

I also sell high power LED fog light BULBS as well if the KITS (kits come with a driver/ballast) are not your thing.

AND if you want to do projection LED, I sell the Morimoto line as well. They make them for the 2007-2016 trucks. Direct OEM replacement housings w/bulbs included.

The morimoto ones don't have bulbs... At all. They have 3 LED chips in them and that's the best way to go will give you the best output.

Thanks for the info. I'm a new Morimoto dealer so was curious (didn't want to try opening one up).

I actually have 3000K temperature LED kits coming soon for the fogs. That's a nice yellow light sure to cut through really bad weather. Should look awesome if you want yellow lights on your fogs.

No problem. I have messed with allot of the morimoto stuff. Specially the fogs. I ran gen 1 in my 07 and then switched to JW speaker later on and have handled the gen 2 morimoto a few times. Plus handled the Mini projectors many a times

I've tried (and continue to use) several Morimoto products including the LED fogs. I'm very happy with their stuff so far and I think you and your customers will be too.
