Headlight Issues

Ok so I decided to install some new Sylvania silverstar bulbs in the headlights and after I did my dims on the passenger side are quite a bit higher than my brights. Does not seem normal and can't get them close to adjusted. Anyone ever experience this or have a way of fixing? 06 f150 KR 4x4

Wink

It almost sounds like you put the bulb in the wrong way. Pull the bulb out and double check the bulb housing by the rubber O-ring. There are three tabs, one being a bit larger than the other two. The headlight housing has three notches that correspond with the three tabs on the bulb. One notch on the housing is noticeably larger than the other three. The tabs on the bulb housing are the same with one large one. This is to correctly orient the bulb into the housing. I have accidently installed a bulb in the past the wrong way. I just thought it was being a bugger and forced it in. Thankfully I didn't do any damage. So I know it can happen.........

I'll check that. I didn't have any issue getting it to fit in...but that doesn't mean the previous owner did not force multiple sets in and somewhat enlarge it. Or the easy way of putting it, I probably just missed it lol.
