My experience with GE night hawk platinum I loved them.. Mainly because I got them free thru some very well placed words with GE themselves when I worked at my dad's hardware store...
I can't compare then to the SS. But I know they had no blue tint over the bulbs and lasted me 2 years before I changed them. And they were still going strong then.

 

I think I'll stop worrying about lights and go tackle more important things, such as the e brake! by the the way, as always, thank you for your response and knowledge!

My problem sometimes is boredom. I'm a touring musician 8 months out of the year, and have nothing to do the other 4. Guess I nerd out on lightbulbs. Cool! Haha
