I finally had the time (along with some unseasonably awesome weather) to do a mod that I have wanted to do for a good while. I removed my light bar and fabbed up a new one to go behind my grille. Took a piece of 1.25 flat metal that I picked up at Ace and trimmed it to fit with my sonicrafter. Had to to trim the back of the hood stops a bit as well but it all worked out.

After mounting everything up I realized that the lights wouldn't clear the braces on the back of the grille so I had to do some re-positioning.


Here is the finished product. The only thing I think that would make it better is if I had some of those Hella Black out lights.


I may end up going back and fabbing up a brace for the center to keep it from flexing too much but I am happy with it for now!
