I have been looking in to getting led headlights for my truck and i know people who have HID but i have also seen just the led bulbs that plug in to stock connectors. My question to yall is can i just buy the bulb or do I have to get the conversion thing??

If you just get the LED bulbs that go into your stock 9007 you will have almost no output.
To have actually LEDs you need to spend about 700 bucks to do a full converstion.
Look into HID retrofits. Don't just plug HIDs into your reflectors either that will cause a lot of unwanted glare into oncoming traffics eyes.
